A Great Morning

We pulled into Lone Mountain Park right at 5:45 this morning to find the parking lot already full of cars. I first feared another group beat us there (what a pessimist, huh?), but I was excited to see familiar faces everywhere.

It was awesome watching the sun rise with so many friends. It was cool to meet Trevor and Heather for the first time. It was great to see Jeremiah's family hanging out with us. I enjoyed seeing our kids (from Owen through Caitlin, and all the many in-between) excited about the deal.

How great to worship to litugry, music, reading, story-telling, and heart-felt thoughts. And food. And, of course, renewed community.

The sun wasn't the only thing shining this morning.
