Ashamed of my "Heroes"

As a native Hoosier, I've rooted for the Indiana Pacers since I was Tori's age. This year was supposed to be the beginning of a new era, with Ron Artest gone for good, and a highly promoted new image team that the fan base back in the heartland could embrace.

Yet today, barely three days into training came, four of the boys found trouble outside a strip club. There were guns & marijuana found. Perhaps they will be exonerated on further review. Perhaps they are just rebelious young guys who need mercy not judgment. Perhaps. But having grown up there, I know the city won't embrace this kind of stuff. We're looking for heroes, and these guys just won't cut it for that.
